I'm a young dad of 2 kids, and to your second question "what frightens me the most about parenting" is something I have experienced a few times already. And that is when your baby is sick you can't do anything. When she's hurt (I have 2 girls) you can't take away the pain. BUT on the other hand your baby will give you so much joy and here are a few tips I can give. (no need to listen or take them by heart you raise your baby the way you want ;-) ) let them get dirty, let them play and experience life, and yes let them get hurt.
